Our approach

We do not set any advertising cookies. Two Google services require your consent: audience measurement (Google Analytics) and the interactive map (Google Maps). The banner lets you accept everything, refuse everything or choose service by service (“Customise”); refusing has no effect on your browsing or your bookings.

Strictly necessary trackers (exempt from consent)

  • JDASID (session cookie, MH GOURMET): protects the booking form against request forgery. Deleted when you close your browser.
  • cookie_consent (browser local storage): remembers your choices for each service. 6 months per service.
  • ann-… (local or session storage): remembers that an announcement has already been shown to you, so that it is not displayed again. Until the next day or until the end of the session.
  • device_token (cookie): reserved for the restaurant team in the management area, to recognise a trusted device. 12 months. It does not concern website visitors.

Audience measurement: Google Analytics (with your consent)

When audience measurement is enabled, and only if you click “Accept”, we use Google Analytics (Google Ireland Limited) to obtain statistics on website traffic: pages viewed, origin, device type. Without your consent, no Google Analytics script is loaded.

  • Cookies: _ga and _ga_…, maximum lifetime of 13 months.
  • Settings: Google Analytics 4 does not store the full IP address; Google signals and ad personalisation are disabled; statistics are kept for 14 months.
  • Transfer: data may be transferred to Google LLC in the United States, under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
  • Google's policy: policies.google.com/privacy

Interactive map: Google Maps (with your consent)

The location map on the Contact page is provided by Google Maps (Google Ireland Limited). It is only loaded if you accept it, either in the cookie banner or by clicking “Show the map”: your choice is then remembered for 6 months and the map is displayed directly on your next visits. Once the map has loaded, Google may set its own cookies (for example NID, AEC, SOCS) and receive your IP address, according to its privacy policy (policies.google.com/privacy). Without consent, a simple placeholder is shown instead, and the “Directions” button remains available.

Social networks

The links to our Facebook, Instagram or Google pages are simple links: no tracker from these networks is set unless you click on them.

Managing your choices

You can change your choices at any time, service by service, using the “Manage cookies” link at the bottom of every page. If you withdraw your consent, the audience measurement cookies set on our website are deleted and the map is no longer loaded. Cookies that Google has set on its own domains can be deleted in your browser settings. Each choice is kept for 6 months, after which you are asked again. You can also block cookies in your browser settings.
